New Bedford Community Rowing is teaming up with the New Bedford Department of Parks and Recreation this summer to offer three, week-long rowing clinics for New Bedford area teens.
The clinics, to be directed by NBCR Head Coach Cheyenne Bayse, are designed to provide girls and boys, age 11-18, with an introduction to rowing in a fun, camp-like environment. Held at NBCR’s Popes Island Marina site, the program will include a variety of land workouts (weight-lifting, yoga and more), team-building exercises and, of course, rowing.
